Below is a list of the deployable package types available with the Plantronics Spokes SDK.

PlantronicsURE-SDK.msm
Description:
A merge module containing a minimal Spokes Runtime to add it to your applications installer.
Once it is installed you can connect to Spokes and Plantronics Devices using COM Service,
REST Service or by adding your own iPlugin DLL to Spokes folder and Spokes
PURE.xml config file.
Find it here: C:\Program Files\Plantronics\Plantronics SDK\PlantronicsURE-SDK.msm (once SDK is installed)

Description:
A standalone MSI installer containing a minimal Spokes Runtime for installing alongside your application.
Once it is installed you can connect to Spokes and Plantronics Devices using COM Service,
REST Service or by adding your own iPlugin DLL to Spokes folder and Spokes
PURE.xml config file.

Description:
A standalone MSI installer containing the Full Spokes Software for installing alongside your application.
Once it is installed you can connect to Spokes and Plantronics Devices using COM Service,
REST Service or by adding your own iPlugin DLL to Spokes folder and Spokes
PURE.xml config file.

SDK.msm (DEPRECATED, no longer supported! Included here for historical reference)
Description:
A merge module that was added to installer of some older applications. It contains the Device Manager SDK.
Once installed the application was able to connect to Plantronics Devices via COM interface or .NET Assembly.
The Device Manager SDK, though still there today in 2.6, will be deprecated in future as it was incomplete and replaced
by the COM Service.
No longer ships with SDK.

SDK.msi (DEPRECATED, no longer supported! Included here for historical reference)
Description:
A standalone MSI installer that was installed alongside some older applications. It contains the Device Manager SDK.
Once installed the application was able to connect to Plantronics Devices via COM interface or .NET Assembly.

System requirements for Spokes and Spokes SDK:
Platforms, operating system and system requirements
• Plantronics Spokes for Windows software runs on the Intel[R] x86 and x64 platform (including compatible CPUs from other manufacturers) running Windows 7, Vista SP2, and Windows XP SP3 (x86 only).
• The Plantronics Spokes for Windows requires approximately 20mb of disk space.
• The actual process consumes between 40-70MB of memory.
• Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 (or greater) and Windows installer 3.1 are required

Enterprise deployments
In enterprise environments your customer can create a customised MSI installer including software modules and device settings suitable for your customer’s workstations, then push it out using network deployment tools. This can be acheived using the Plantronics Enterprise Manager, available here: http://www.plantronics.com/uk/support/software-downloads/all-software-downloads.jsp
Install it then refer to the Administrator’s Guide.
